Feather Effects Design was created by me... Heather Walls. Professionally, I am first and foremost a graphic designer. Having started in the print realm, before web was even introduced into college curricula (and dinosaurs still roamed the earth), I've evolved my career into one that focuses on the web side of design. Through the years, I've added a few more feathers in my cap, including HTML/CSS, Flash design and animation, video shoot production and editing and search engine optimization.

Having worked as a designer in the corporate world, broadcast television, ad agencies, and now my own company, I have influenced a wide breadth of highly visible work - even won a few awards along the way. When I'm not stretching my creative muscles, I love camping with my family, playing volleyball, baking and spending time at the beach. I've been fortunate to have lived in some amazing places, having been raised in Hawaii, attended college in Seattle, lived in New Mexico and Colorado Springs, and a year ago, relocated back to the Northwest in Portland, Oregon. I've got two amazing children who inspire me everyday, and a supportive husband who always encourages me to follow my passion for design.
